Sulphuric acid anodising is a very hard, durable coating for aluminium which helps to prevent corrosion
Our maximum component size is 1200mm x 650mm x 600mm, sheet size 1250mm x 700mm with a maximum weight of 50Kg.
We can prepare your components in our vibro-polisher, bead blast or create a brushed finish prior to anodising and surface finishing.
Our anodising plant offers coloured anodising in a range of colours and a selection of conversion coatings.
Used with anodising, aluminium can be dyed a range of colours that help define your brand.
We supply anodised aluminium satin anodised both sealed or unsealed ready for use with aluprint dyes.
Anodised coatings are poor electrical conductors so areas can be masked if required.
Conversion Coatings
Conversion coatings available are Alochrom 1000, Alochrom 1200 and Surtec 650.
Alochrom 1000 is clear in appearance and offers low electrical resistance and is ideal as a base layer for other finishes.
Alochrom 1200 offers enhanced corrosion resistance to oxidization, weather and chemical corrosion and meets DEF STAN 03-18.
Surtec 650 provides excellent corrosion protection for aluminium extruded material or sheets but without Cr(VI) and is ideal for the electronic, architectural and automotive industries.
Conversion coatings provide an excellent base for painting and epoxy finishes which use less energy than conventional powder coatings and offer greater colour choice than coloured anodising.
